Tasks Overview
The Tasks extension keeps work organized inside each team/project. It tracks assignments, due dates, and progress while staying scoped to the selected workspace.
What the Tasks Extension Does
- Create and manage task lists for a team/project.
- Assign tasks to teammates and track completion status.
- Group work by due date and keep priorities visible.
- Surface tasks in other views, like My Stuff.
Scoped to the Active Project
Tasks live inside the selected team/project. Switching projects changes the task list and keeps information separated across workstreams.
Some views can roll up tasks from nested projects, but ownership and permissions remain tied to the original project.
Permissions at a Glance
- Any organization member can create tasks (member role or higher).
- Organization leaders and project supervisors can manage tasks.
- Task creators can update their own tasks.
