Configuring Email Notifications
The Notifications page lets you choose between RebelOps email servers or a custom SMTP provider for organization email delivery.
Who Can Configure Notifications
Email notification settings are available to elevated roles such as founder and director.
Choose a Delivery Mode
- Use RebelOps Servers routes notification email through RebelOps infrastructure.
- Turning it off enables custom SMTP settings for your organization.
- The page warns that RebelOps servers may introduce a link between users and organizations.
Custom SMTP Settings
When custom SMTP is enabled, complete the following fields before saving:
- SMTP Host and Port (1–65535).
- Use TLS/SSL toggle for secure delivery.
- Username and Password if required.
- From Email and optional From Name.
The password field can be left empty to keep the existing saved password.
Send a Test Email
Use Send Test to deliver a test email to your current account and confirm the configuration.
Save and Validate
- Validation errors appear if required fields are missing or malformed.
- Save Settings is disabled until the form is valid.
