Deleting a Project
Remove a team/project permanently from the Edit Project dialog. Deletion clears all related data and cannot be undone.
Who Can Delete Projects
Only directors and founders can delete projects. Chiefs and members can view projects but cannot delete them.
Open the Delete Action
- Select the project you want to remove.
- Click the project header to open the Edit Project dialog.
- Select Delete Project.
Confirm the Deletion
The confirmation dialog lists everything that will be removed. Type the project name to enable the delete action.
If your organization uses end-to-end encryption, the project name is decrypted for confirmation so you can verify the exact target.
What Gets Deleted
- All tasks created in the project
- All milestones tracked for the project
- All shift schedules, staffing plans, exceptions, and absences
- All chat messages sent in the project
- All file associations with the project
- All project member assignments
- The project itself and its data
After Deletion
The project disappears from the sidebar immediately and syncs to all connected devices. This action is permanent.
