Create Bot Account

Bot accounts are created exactly like human accounts. There is no separate bot-user type for sign-up.

Create the Account

  1. Open https://web.rebelops.app.
  2. On the login page, switch to Register (if needed).
  3. Fill in the standard registration fields (name, email, password).
  4. Submit the form to create the account.
  5. Use the same email/password for your bot apps.

Distinction from Public API

Public API tokens are for third-party read-style public endpoints. Bot accounts that act like regular organization members authenticate via normal user login and use Master server bearer tokens. Use public API tokens only for read-only feeds such as announcements or proposals and decisions.
