Notes Overview

The Notes extension captures project knowledge in a lightweight, markdown-friendly workspace. Notes stay scoped to the active team/project and can surface during onboarding.

What Notes Helps With

Documenting project context, SOPs, and handoff details.
Formatting content with markdown for clarity and structure.
Highlighting key notes during onboarding.

Manual Ordering per Project

Notes are sorted by a custom order so you can keep the most important guidance at the top. Reordering only affects the current project.

Onboarding Visibility

Mark a note as onboarding to show it in the welcome flow for new teammates. This is ideal for quick-start instructions and policies.

Encryption Ready

Notes support end-to-end encryption. If encryption is enabled, titles and content are stored encrypted until the organization key is available.

Permissions at a Glance

All organization members can view notes in their projects.
Founders, directors, chiefs, and project supervisors can create, edit, reorder, and delete notes.
