Proposals & Decisions Overview
The Proposals & Decisions extension lets teams capture proposals before approval and keep approved decisions in the same project history. Items stay scoped to the active project and can be shared into chat in a format that matches their current status.
What It Captures
- Proposal titles and optional descriptions.
- Approved decisions with their approval timestamp.
- Project-specific context and ownership.
- Proposal and decision history grouped inside the same extension.
Proposal to Decision Flow
Teams can add an item as a proposal first and approve it later, or create it directly as a decision when the outcome is already final. Proposals appear above approved decisions in their own section so open items stay easy to review.
Share in Chat
Approved decisions are shared into chat as milestones. Proposals keep a card-style presentation so the team can discuss them before they become final.
Markdown and Encryption Support
Proposal and decision descriptions support markdown formatting. If end-to-end encryption is enabled, titles and descriptions are stored encrypted until the organization key is available.
Permissions at a Glance
- All organization members can view proposals and decisions in their projects.
- Founders, directors, chiefs, and project supervisors can create, edit, and delete proposals and decisions.
